Ishika Guha is a self-taught abstract artist based in London. She loves pushing her artistic boundaries by crafting visually striking narratives. Ishika sees her art as a balance between spontaneity and intention- both in traditional and digital formats. Her raw, emotive works, showcased in galleries like Saatchi, invite viewers to dive into a vivid whirlwind of identity and urban pulse. She is actively minting her abstracts as NFTs since 2021.
To Ishika her abstract is a direct channel for intuition, a visceral dialogue between her subconscious and the canvas. She paints without premeditation, allowing instinct to guide each brushstroke, colour choice, and form. Her process is an act of surrender—trusting the unseen currents of emotion, memory, and energy to manifest in vibrant hues, dynamic textures, and fluid compositions. Each piece is a moment captured, a fleeting glimpse into the unspoken language of the soul.
As a London based abstract artist the vibrant, ever-shifting energy of urban life and the quiet introspection of personal experience do reflect through her colours. Her abstractions are not meant to represent or define; they are invitations to feel, to wander, and to find personal meaning in the interplay of chaos and harmony. Through this intuitive practice, she seeks to create a space where viewers can connect with their inner rhythms and discover stories that resonate beyond words. Ishika has exhibited and published her paintings internationally in more than 15 countries earning her prestigious awards. Her physical and digital artworks are in private collections worldwide. Additionally, she hosts regular Twitter/X Spaces and speak at major Web3 events around the world to share her insights, mentor new artists, and to promote art-on-chain to a wider audience. She is passionate about creating and supporting innovative and inclusive art that connects cultures and communities.
