Ishika Guha is a self-taught abstract artist based in London, whose practice explores the dynamic interplay of colour, form, and emotion to craft visually compelling narratives. She maintains a deliberate balance between spontaneity and intention, working fluidly across traditional and digital media to expand the horizons of abstract expression.
Since 2021, Ishika has actively minted her abstract works as NFTs, contributing meaningfully to the development of digital and onchain art. Her paintings have been exhibited and published internationally, with presentations in over 15 countries, engaging diverse global audiences.
In addition to her studio practice, Ishika serves as Contributing Editor at Suburbs Gallery in Montreal, a pioneering digital art space dedicated to onchain and digital creations since 2021. In this capacity, she offers editorial insights, highlights emerging and established digital artists, and supports the gallery's mission to extend the visibility of onchain art beyond traditional frameworks.
Ishika is also an active and influential voice within the Web3 art community. She regularly hosts Twitter/X Spaces, speaks at prominent global Web3 events, mentors emerging artists, and advocates for innovative, inclusive practices in art-on-chain that promote cross-cultural connections and robust community building.
Through her multifaceted roles as an artist, editor, and advocate, Ishika remains steadfastly committed to creating and championing art that bridges cultures, challenges established perspectives, and broadens the possibilities of contemporary expression.
